Lance Williams

Lance Williams is an actor, producer, director, writer, and acting coach with more than three decades in the entertainment industry. His work spans both sides of the camera, giving him a practical understanding of what casting directors, producers, and directors are looking for in the room and on set.

As director of the Professional Actors Workshop, Lance has trained actors for the film and television markets since 1990, carrying forward a legacy of rigorous, professional-caliber instruction that has shaped careers across the industry. His approach emphasizes technique built for working environments rather than the classroom alone: cold reading, self-tape and audition preparation, on-camera presence, scene study, and the business fundamentals that determine whether talent turns training into bookings.

Over the course of his career, Lance has coached actors at every stage, from first-time talent preparing for their first audition to working professionals refining their craft between projects. His students have gone on to book work in film, television, commercial, and industrial markets. Beyond the workshop, his acting, producing, directing, and writing credits include Troll 2, Summer of the Eagle, Con Expresss, The Parade of Homes Show, and more. Lance continues to work actively in the industry.

Williams is based in Los Angeles and travels to Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, and more, where he continues to teach, coach, and develop new talent for the professional market.
